How i cleared my anxiety and became a Matrix Practitioner by Jemima Eames

My life was once ruled by anxiety. Everything I did, said, where I went and who I spent time with was dictated by the level of fear I experienced on a daily basis. It was exhausting and incredibly limiting. I ‘coped’ by drinking which only added to my anxiousness.  At the age of 21 I was diagnosed with depression, given anti-depressants and sent to see a counsellor. This is what I needed at the time but it was a very slow process. I saw 12 different counsellors over the following 13 years, each one slowly helping me to drag myself out of the hole I was in.

I had my son when I was 28 and that’s when I started to really change. I did it for him because apparently I wasn’t worth making the change for (according to me). I decided to become a counsellor so that I could give something back and to help others in pain.

I have always been interested in alternative therapies and doing things differently and a friend told me about EFT. I watched the video on tapping.com and tapped along. My friend happened to call me whilst I was tapping and my jaw was so relaxed I couldn’t speak properly - something had happened to me! I had a go at tapping myself but couldn’t quite get my head around it. 6 months later I went on to do the training with Karl. I was amazed by what I saw and experienced. I clearly remember having the thought “Oh, this is why I’m here!” I was hooked.

For the next 6 months I listened to the Matrix Webinars, tapped on my own and did weekly swaps with fellow tappers that I had trained with, gaining more experience and understanding of the techniques and learning different ways of incorporating everything else I had learnt. I am a Reiki master and have studied family dynamics and the influence of early traumas on the subconscious and the patterns that this can set up.

As this was going on, I noticed that my anxieties were falling away. I no longer had panic attacks. I could spend time at the school gates (not doing the ‘drop and run’ that I had had to use before). I was finally finding peace.

I was invited to Grayshott Spa to begin work there as a practitioner and was asked to give a talk about EFT. This was a huge challenge for me something that I would never have considered. I tapped, prepared and gave the talk - I loved it! This was the turning point. I left my job and have been a full time practitioner ever since. I have had over 400 clients since then and spent over 500 hours in the Matrix with them!

Of course I still have emotions and anxieties but now they come and they go. I recognise them for what they are - messages from sub-conscious trying to keep me safe and happy. I still have swap sessions every week and my life goes from strength to strength. I get so much joy from seeing the success of my clients and their own freedom from their anxieties.
